Our Story

Simply Liberated, LLC is a small female-owned concierge service providing non-medical services for seniors in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina.    SMALL doesn’t mean lacking … OR compromising excellence, care or service!

 

Mary Talley, Owner and Founder of Simply Liberated; has over 50 successful years working with people in the newspaper, law enforcement, military and healthcare industries.   Prior to the September 11, 2001 terror attacks on the United States, she was a successful business owner serving the Pentagon, Quantico, Andrews and Fort Belvoir military bases for over 10 years.  

 

In addition, Mary has spent over 30 years volunteering in church leadership roles, working with children, food banks, inmates, hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.   She is intentional at embracing other's cultural, medical and ethnic differences and/or challenges.   She also  strives to make every experience positive, meaningful and memorable!    Mary loves people and has a proven track record of helping and leaving a lasting impact on others!

 

Mary’s love for the elderly grew in 2009 when her mom became ill and could no longer live independently.   Unfortunately, due to her and her sibling’s family, work, living out-of-state and lifestyles; they were unable to oversee their mother’s healthcare needs 24/7.  She and her sister’s went on a quest to find the perfect assisted living facility for their “picky” mom; and they DID!!!   Mary’s love for the elderly has blossomed … especially as she continues to volunteer and assist with their needs.  She enjoys seeing them smile, sharing a word of encouragement, assist with their activities, joke and laugh as they stroll down memory lane and remember the "good ole days!"

 

Finally, Mary knows first hand the difficult decision of overseeing and balancing the quality of care for your loved one.    She understands the demands on other families … living out-of-state, work-life balance, finances and other factors that are REAL today!!     Mary’s combined lifetime journey of her love for God, compassion, working with people, life lessons, career path, concern and love for the elderly played a pivotal role in her birthing Simply Liberated.
